Very nice ambience and super friendly staff. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

In this extra sheet you can sit outside in almost any weather. Radiant heaters are installed, and partition walls protect you from wind coming from the side. These are made of glass from 1m high, so that you still have a view of the hustle and bustle on Bahnhofstrasse. Awnings keep rain out from above. Unfortunately the number of places is limited. It's really loud inside. Music and the talk of the other guests create a high level of noise. The waitresses really have a lot of stress and running around. Are probably too understaffed. Nevertheless, the operating staff is friendly and courteous. Despite the racing. The offer will probably be like in any special edition. There is always something on the menu for a little hunger. On the whole, the shop is recommended from my point of view.

I used to go to Extrablatt in Cologne quite often, and it was nice to visit yet another good branch in Gelsenkirchen. I ordered a schnitzel with mushroom sauce (I recommend turkey instead of pork - it’s actually a bit thicker and juicier), it was very tasty, nothing too fancy but cooked just right, and at a very cheap price, I must say. The mushroom sauce was delicious and the salad was super fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The waiters were very courteous and polite, and the food was brought out promptly. Great cafe for a quick bite or a longer dinner.

Would have expected more friendliness .. if you give a 2 euro tip as a small gesture then you expect at least a thank you .. if they are at 10 o'clock in the morning I don't want to know in the evening.

Nice service, drinks super delicious and the food looked super tasty. Unfortunately, sometimes all three songs have one song and become very monotonous, but still a very great cocktail bar.

There were four of us at the Cafe Extrablatt in Gelsenkirchen on a weekend and have to say that it was very loud inside. The acoustics weren't that great, so you couldn't talk properly and extensively. Food is a normal standard, but nothing special. The service was friendly and quick.

Pan been there a Saturday afternoon. You had to be a little bit since it was very busy. The staff took care of you directly when approached. Very nice! From the food and drinks, the usual selection with me an extra sheet. Everything great..

The breakfast Hemmingway was plentiful and fresh. And a breakfast was freshly prepared. Very nice service. Otherwise you sit in the deep Gelsenkirchen old town. ?

The food quality is good. Operation can be much more central. You have to beg to be able to order another drink.

Good simple food. Reasonable prices. Nice outdoor sitting area with heaters. Cocktails are cheap and large, but are made with cheap alcohol and lots of sugar. You'll probably be left with a headache the next day after drinking them. The breakfast buffet they offer is cheap and has a reasonably good range to choose from. Service is ok, somtimes a little slow.

Nice cafe with under there is sweet to hearty. Food tastes, service is friendly and prices go u.a. also for the breakfast buffet in order.

Hardworking staff.. fairly good food...seating is not very comfortable.. ideal for 3 -4 persons...no large tables available inside... large smoking section outside.

Great place for a weekend breakfast. Have a good spread of breads and croissants . Defintely recommend this.

Really good food. The prices are actually not bad, the waitresses are nice and friendly. The only problem was the music, too much pop music playing.
